George Castle
DirectionDeep inside the Madhav National Park, at its highest point, stands the exquisite George Castle at a height of 484 m (1597 feet)from the sea level. This castle was built in 1911 by then Scindia ruler of Gwalior for an overnight halt of King George V of England, who was to visit the forest for a tiger shoot.Tourists have a breathtaking view of lakes and a panoramic view of the Kardhai forests from here.
